12/21/07 Kilyka's Sugar 'n Spice of Bluwater (Sugar) whelps our second
newfoundland litter. There were 1 boy and 1 girl in the litter.
09/30/07 Both Sugar and Babka earned their Canine Good Citizen Certificates
at the Westbury Kennel Association's Show. Sugar was handled by Tom and
Babka was handled by Joan.
09/15/07 Sugar passes her Water Test to earn her Water Dog (WD) title at the
BMNC water test under judges Sue Marino & Donna Thibault. Babka at 1 day
shy of 9 months gave it a gallant effort. Sugar was handled by Tom and Babka
was handled by Joan.
08/11/07 Sugar took Best of Opposite first time out as a special under judge
Carolyn Thomas at the Southern Adirondack Dog Club, Inc.
08/10/07 Sugar took Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite for 3 points and her
second major today under judge Jean Fournier at the Mohawk Valley Kennel
Club to complete her championship!!. Thank you Betty McDonnell for all you
help support and expert handling of Sugar through her last 10 points. Babka
took Best Puppy in Breed at the same show.
08/04/07 Sugar took Best of Breed, Winner's Bitch and Best of Winners for 3
points and her first major today under judge Patricia Hess at the Perkiomem
Kennel Club. She now has 13 points - 1 more major to go to finish.
07/20/07 Sugar took Winner's Bitch and Best of Winners for 2 points today
under judge Madeline Fish at the Putnam Kennel Club. She now has 10 points -
just needs those 2 pesky Majors to finish.
07/15/07 Sugar took Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite for 2 points under
Judge Charles Trotter at the Twin Brooks Kennel Club. Daughter, Babka
watched and took notes on how to do it right.
07/14/07 At almost 7 months old, Babka passed her Guppy, Tadpole and Frog
at NewPenDel's Paws & Claws. She showed everyone what a water dog she is.
Savannah also expertly demonstrated several exercises from WD, WRD and
WRDX.
07/13/07 Sugar took Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite for 1 point while
Babka took Reserve Winner's Bitch under Judge Bernard Schwartz at the
Riverhead Kennel Club.
06/23/07 BMNC Regional Speciality - Puppies Babka, Remi, Kuma & Phoebe
make their ring debut under Sweep Judge Lynne Anderson-Powell - Kuma took
1st place in 6-9 puppy dog, Remi took 2nd, Babka took 1st in 6-9 puppy bitch
and Phoebe took 2nd. Cole took Best Veteran in Sweeps. In regular classes
under judge Pat Gellerman - Kuma took 1st place in 6-9 puppy dog, Remi took
2nd, Phoebe took 1st in 6-9 puppy bitch, Babka took 4th in Bred-by. Cole took
Best Veteran!
06/10/07 Sugar earns a qualifying score and a second place for her third leg of
her CD under judge Susan King at the Longshore-Southport Kennel Club
handled by Tom. Sugar Has now earned her first title - CD!
05/19/07 Sugar earns a qualifying score for her second leg towards her CD
under judge John Keenan at the Ladies Kennel Association handled by Tom.
One more leg to go.
04/29/07 At the Long Island Coalition of Dog Fanciers Spring Fling, Babka
(Bluwater's Baked to Perfection) won Best of Breed Puppy . She was handled by
Tom. Also making match debuts in the ring were siblings, Remi, Kuma, and
Phoebe. Watch for their official debuts at the BMNC regional in June.
03/18/07 Sugar, handled by Tom, earns a qualifying score for her first leg
towards her CD under judge Robert Amen at the First Dog Training Club of
Northern NJ.
02/25/07 Bluwater Blasts Off De Lamer (Rocket) Takes WD & BOW for his first
point at his first show. Bluwater's Kiss of the Devil (Kisses) took WB and BOS for
her first point at her first show. Both at the Rockland Kennel Club.
